Since she was a child, Yasmeen has been captivated by music. Also a lover of words, Yasmeen got her degree in Multimedia Journalism. She made her way to San Francisco from her home in Atlanta and has been enjoying the ride. An avid fan of Hunter S Thompson and Bukowski, Yasmeen appreciates the bold and risky. She is currently navigating through her twenties with little sleep and a lot of good times. When she is not attending shows and writing reviews, Yasmeen is helping people find jobs (she is a recruiter by day), exploring new places, hanging at the beach, going on road trips, and buying funky shoes. Her favorite album of all time is The Wall by Pink Floyd.

On September 20 just past 10 pm, Lettuce entered the stage of the UC Theater Taube Family Music Hall in Berkeley in amusement launching a night of funk. The group started their first of two sets with “Gogo,” bringing it all to the table – heavy hitting cowbell, Adam Deitch on loud hi-hat, Ryan with the saxophone, and all of the group clapping their hands inviting the audience to join. Phish Bill Graham Civic Auditorium July 24, 2018 Photos by Pollen Heath On July 24 at Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco’s Civic Center, Phish, like always, took attendees on a journey through genres, tempos, and emotions. Attendees left with a sense of community – everyone had experienced this ride together.
