After releasing their acclaimed record, No Obligations on Epitaph Records last year, The Linda Lindas further advanced their unironic, joyful, and exciting trajectory of mashing up L.A. punk with post punk, garage rock, power pop, new wave and rock en español. The album had been in the works for the last two years whenever the band weren’t at school or touring and featured singles “All In My Head,” “Yo Me Estreso (feat. Weird Al Yankovic),” “No Obligation” and “Nothing Would Change”. The Linda Lindas are here to defy expectations and challenge norms.
The band had a whirlwind 2024 which included appearances on The Talking Heads Stop Making Sense tribute album and a performance of their cut of “Found A Job” on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon plus performances on The Daily Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this year. They also supported Blondie, The Rolling Stones, The Breeders, Paramore on their This is Why tour, and have played festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Boston Calling, and more. The band also joined Green Day, The Smashing Pumpkins and Rancid on a massive arena tour last summer.
After the well deserved hype, the Linda Lindas finally embarked on a headlining 18 date U.S. tour, which saw the opening dates in Berkeley and San Francisco sell out and play to packed venues with support from the recently reunited Be Your Own Pet.
