Stinky’s Peepshow returned to San Francisco for one glorious and action packed weekend and brought back everything that everyone loved about it when it was an institution over a decade ago. From a great mix of punk, garage, and metal bands to the peepshows with the large and lovely dancers shaking their goods to sounds spun by four old school Stinky’s DJ’s, the two-day festival offered something for everyone who braved one of the warmest weekends San Francisco has seen this summer and made their way over to Thee Parkside.

Over fifteen bands played over the two days, and it was definitely hard to pick a favorite. Saturday started off with a great set of garage punk from The Boobytrapz. Other highlights included The Pagans, The Spits, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Sunday was more of a a rock/psych day, and was kicked off with Wild Eyes S.F. Great sets from Glitter Wizzard, Mondo Drag, Naked Raygun, and High on Fire wrapped up the weekend.

Stinky’s al Fresco was a super fun weekend of bands, booze, and good times, and sometimes that’s all you need.
